| The Westside Doubleheader is usually the last two field trips of the
semester for Mass Comm 101, and this semester is no exception. The Museum
of Television & Radio on Beverly Drive in Beverly Hills was out morning
outing. The museum's architect was Richard Meier, who also was architect
of the Getty Center.

| We had 63 students, plus a few guests who turned out on a beautiful and unseasonably warm fall day. |

After an excellent workshop on television documentaries, we headed across the street for lunch at Johnny Rockets. |
|
|
Johnny Rockets is always an interesting experience. We have a classic American lunch, put nickels into the juke box, and watch the beautiful people of Beverly Hills pass by. |

|
It's a fun break in the middle of the day of field trips. |
